Best exercise for obese or unhealthy kids ?

I have noticed many kids are more prone to indoor games and lack any kind of physical activity leading to obesity in them. I wanna know is there any gaming exercise that can help kids perform some physical activity and at the same time can enjoy playing games ?

i think children are driven away from natural activities because lack of opportunities to do. we have no huge spaces to play them.Actually we(the parents) has not enough time to spent to children's.we should seriously think about the family bonding relations.

Have they tried Wii? There are numerous sports activities which are fun, but can also be quite strenuous. Most are competitive, too, which will add to the fun, especially for boys.

If the cost makes this difficult (shop around on the web), look in local papers for people selling them second hand.

    I wish you well.

I agree with RogerD, Wii is definitely a good way kids can play physically inside especially in winter. What ever happened to bike riding and walking?? I know that's a little harder in the city, but there are parks everywhere. Children learn from their parents, so if the parents go for a walk or ride every night after dinner instead of watching the tellie they will also.

physical movement is very important for health for everyone and also for children. if you try to play with them some games which have movements, you will see the effect. you can freely play with them some games like soccer. this is the creative work also because it pushes your body for movement from every angle. in my opinion try to play with them.

You don't give much information about age and level of physical fitness but I would suggest looking for dance clubs in your area. A source of help would be your local municipal theatre. Most have a budget for work with children and teenagers and offer drama clubs in the evenings or on Saturdays. Dance and drama also have the advantage of teaching social skills and co-operation and dance classes can lead to a lifelong hobby.
