Best over the counter medicine for anxiety?

I've suffered with on and off pretty severe anxiety for the past 5 years.
As of the past month it's making a strong comeback in all areas of life. I have my first return counselling appointment on the 8th of May. But over the next 5 days there are several events coming up that I'm worrying I won't be able to cope with via natural methods (breathing etc).
Going to stop at the pharmacy on the way back from work, what should I be asking for? I'm clueless on the medicines for anxiety, despite having it for so long - and what would be available to buy VS prescribed by a doctor.

The symptoms specific to me are nausea/retching anxiety.

feed your soul too. A lot of being ok with yourself even if you fail, get anxious or whatever. Accept it all and be kind to yourself. Try so hard not to attatch outcomes. I think we are the worst folks to predict the future. We base it off the past expeiriences of anxiety ridden days and fears. So remove any attatchment to an outcome. Be patient. If needed even pray. This stuff gets rough at times. But it passes you know that already. Still stinks when it is active either way.

Sorry that it's making such a strong comeback. My aniexty has been affecting me a lot in social situations and understand the nausea feeling.
I bought Kalms tablets (you take one a day), an instant relief spray (this can be used as often as you feel, it does really help however it does taste like tequila so not sure how that will make you feel) and Lavender oil! (My favourite)!!! Sleep with it in the room, put it into baths, and dab some on your clothes it really helps ease the aniexty
Hope these could work for you

Hello
Try rescue remedy, you can put drops directly onto your tongue or drops into some water to sip. I'm not sure if this has helped me directly or if it's the thought of something that may help but possibly worth a try. I have also used lavender oil and camomile tea or tablets (if you're not keen on the taste).
It may also be worth downloading an app onto your phone for calming techniques, I have one which has helped me quite a bit in the past.
See how you get on, I'm sure the fear is worse than the actual situation will be in the end.
Take care
