Beta blocker: Bisoprolol vs Propanolol

Posted , 2 users are following.

ive been taking Propanolol 10mg twice a day, i have supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) , my doc changed my medication from that to bisoprolol 2.5 mg per day. i think i felt better on the propanolol 2 times a day. peace of mind taking it once in the morning and once at night maybe. just wondering if anyone could tell me which one would be better for SVT and if the 2.5 bisoprolol is as helpful for heart rate than 20 mg of propanolol.

thanks

I have only taken bisoprolol. I can tell you that \I felt like crap on. I only took it for 3 months. I was taken off for an attempted ablation. I never went back on it.

I had extreme fatigue, |My hands and feet were freezing, and my resting heart rate was quite low.

I also have SVT , and the type I have is PAT

Can't advise you on the other drug. I really think most of these be it beta blocker or calcium channel blocker make us feel yucky
