betahistine ( betaserc ) tablets ... should I keep talking this tablets ? any help ...

I had VN ( vestibular neruites )  since 7 weeks ... and I'm getting much better than the first 2 weeks ... but I'm still having some issues ... ( a bit of pressure in sinus and forhead  and fozzy , confusion and a very mild dizzy ) by times ... ubs and down ... days by days and even hours .

My question is should I keep taking betahistine or stop them ... got too much confused about this ?

Thanks

I was seeing my go yesterday and I told him I had not been taking the betahystine incase it delayed progression but he said that would be the case with stemetil but not betahystine. But I have read online that they do delay progress aswell. I’m in week 5 of it, the dizziness isn’t really bad but I have pain and pressure in my neck and bottom of my head that’s there 24/7. I’m so worried it’s more serious. Xx

My doc said it’s ok to take betahistine but everyone on theses forms says not, I am still taking them but this is just my second day of them: I feel when I sit down I feel worse and when I lie down and put any pressure on my head it feels as though my brain is being crushed . It’s an awful thing to have xx

Yes but most of them saying it makes the recovery longer .... and I had the same pressure on head and sometimes mild headache ...I'm not sure if it's the side effects of it .

I’m into week 6 the dizziness isn’t as bad but comes when the pressure comes. It’s in my neck and back of my head though. I don’t really get it in the front of my face. This is what makes me worry everyone else gets pressure in front of head fave but mines st the back. Do you feel it’s worse when your sitting or lying down? I do xx

I get this every day of my life..It starts with a quick dizzy. Then my face,,cheeks, nose area, and forehead fills with bad pressure, It seems my left ear plugs up, and I am all off balance .When I walk I feel like I am walking on a boat

It usually happens at the same time in the day too.

    Had this for years......just nasty

Sorry fto hear u suffering this long ... so what u diagnosed ?

Keep taking them it’s a long course treatment you need to do as your doctor tells you I suffer with meniers disease and took them for years I always have some on stand by I usually take them before I go on a flight as air pressure can effect your ears and weather changes especially low air pressure so keep taking them it’s really a long process
