Betahistine with cyclizine or stemetil

I was diagnosed with menieres in one ear over 30 years ago and gradually it seemed to 'burn out.

However in August I was diagnosed with menieres in the other ear and am now severely deaf and have hearing aids

Because of a lot of episodes of vertigo I was given stemetil but also sometimes use cyclizine instead 3 x daily. Now I am prescribed 16mg betahistine 3 x daily but have continued with either cyclizine or stemetil. I don't want to do this indefinitely but am nervous about just using betahistine. Anyone any experience in this area?

    I have had for 7 years on betahistine 3 times a day but now suffer permanant dizzyness and getting worse any ideas
