hello all i am usually in a stable mood for a month and then i drop off and become depressed and anxious with racing thoughts for about three weeks. pure obsessive out of the OCD spectrum. i take 20 mg of abilify and 20 mg of prozac. why is this happening? the complete mood cycle happens constantly. does anyone have any thoughts about this?

hi albert u do seem to be having problems i cant help u much not having bipolar (ive got depressoin and anxiety and im on 60mg now for just over a week but not a lot is happening yet.this is my 14wk o prozac 3wks on 20mg 8wks on 40mg it seems ages for things to turn round.have u found a site for bipolar to see if any body could shed some light on what ure going through.the only thing i can say is these meds take a while to get in too your system do u think u may need to up your dosage everything seems to get worse before it gets betterthe anxiety etc do u think thats what is happening to u.just to say i cant add up properly ive was on 40mg for 10 wks not 8 sorry about that and sorry i cant help u anymore hope some one will answer u who understands bipolar better we willtry and help on this forum if we can dont give up hope.x
