Big red lump

Sorry to post again but last few days I've been particularly sore when trying to sit down. I examined myself and have found a few small pink lumps and one big bright red lump surrounding my anus. They weren't there a couple of days ago so what the hell are they? x

    Omgosh same here, tomorrow marks 1 week since my surgery and I aslo noticed a lump around my anus and I’m hoping it’s not a roid again. The doctor assured me this is the healing process and I hope he is right. Did you go to see a doctor?

      Hi McClain I'm hoping to get an appointment today if I can stay awake long enough. I've not slept all night with the pain and feeling like I need a bm. X

      Sorry to hear that. Take your pain killers and go easy on the stool softeners. Too soft stools will feel like diarhea and the burning around your anus is hell. Sit in warm water it really helps before and after BM.

      Thanks Mcclaine. I've found that it's easier for me to go when I'm in the sitz bath then I can change the water and sit in it for about 20 mins to calm the pain x

    I wouldn't worry about it. I have something similar and it's all part of the healing process. It takes time for the body to heal and for all the inflammation to reduce.

      Thanks Happening. Is it giving you much pain? Mines really painful and making bm more difficult and painful x

    I have these and hoping it isn’t new roids from bowel movements. No way would I go through this who surgery again I would rather kill myself...Mine is still sore and swollen and I have open wounds around the area the doctor prescribed me uniroid cream which in the leaflet says is for inflammation and pain and had anaesthesia in can’t say if it’s been helping but I’ll try anything...I have a checkup with surgeon in 3 weeks so I’m assuming he will have a look I’m hoping they either go away over time or are harmless tags that I can live with because as I said before no way in cat in hells chance will I ever let anyone or anything near there again!!! Xx
