Big white bumps on frenulum (with pics) and I'm very concerned.

Hi all,

Since a few weeks I have this small little white bump on my frenulum. It doesn't hurt, it just sits there. I also didn't have any sex for atleast 6 months now.

It could be my ilussion but it looks like it's getting a little bit bigger aswell overtime but I'm not 100% sure.

If you look closely on the pictures you can see that theres actually 2, one smaller one underneath the bigger one.

I searched on internet and found HPV/tyson glands but that doesn't match with what I have according to pictures..... Also it doesn't really look like warts because it has a different structure which seen at picture 5...

Could anyone tell me what this is and if this is dangerous?? I might be planning on visiting a doctor..

    Hi nick,

You have two genital warts growing on the frenum. They are not Tyson's glands.

Hi Adhari thanks a lot for your message.

It makes me feel relieved that you say they are genital warts. Are they going away without treatment or is there something I can do myself for them to go away? I really don't want them to get bigger

But how did I get them in the first place? I NEVER have unprotected sex and I haven't even touched a vagina all year.. In fact I only kissed 1 woman this entire year and that's it. No sexual contact

They may have been acquired through intimate genital contact (i.e. before a condom is worn for penetrative sex) many months earlier. They can sometimes clear spontaneously, but it can take from 12-24 months and most patients prefer to get them treated (Warticon or Aldara).

Many many thanks Adhari.. Your response is highly appreciated. I guess I will call my doctor tomorrow then and get it sorted with. Will post an update later 😃

Be careful when you treat these warts- because of their location on the frenum, overzealous treatment can result in scarring (i.e. shortening) of the frenum, which may make intercourse uncomfortable. Apply just enough cream to cover the lesion, no more. If you apply too much by accident, wash off the cream and re-apply carefully.

Thanks for the tip! I will definitely do it real carefully.. Do you think the doctor will be able to put cryo on it to freeze it off?? Or is that a too dangerous spot for cryo?

This can also be risky if he is inexperienced...

so I went to the doctor and she prescribed me Condolyne which I have to apply 2 times per day for 3 days straight and no longer than 5 weeks. Let's see how it goes..

Update: So today is the 3rd day of treatment and the warts are already almost gone!

Does anyone know if I should continue the treatment until fully gone?? I can already barely see them anymore but I still put the stuff on it just incase it comes back when I stop treatment.

But I also don't want to damage my frenum skin..

    Thanks!
