Hi! Sorry! I just saw this. I had a double plantar, calf recession release on sept 25. I was in walking boots for 4 weeks, pretty limited to my steps for 6-8. I had to use a wheel chair in n out those 4 weeks. I was able to go back to work in 2 weeks. My office was very accommodating and I have a desk job. I was in physical therapy for 5 months after. I feel great. I am back to my life again. Every now and then the tendon under my calve gets sore and I have to ice it down and stretch it, but other than that I am at 90%. I have some wakes in my ankles still, but every day they are getting stronger. I believe that it is a doable surgery and worth the recover process. You will definitely need help with your kiddos, but other than that it is a doable process that requires patience. The results have been well worth it. I am very happy to be out of that horrific pain. Good luck.

Thank u jay. I have decided to not go for the op. I have heard so much mixed reviews. Many sufferers have suggested ART ( active release therapy) they all seem to say how it has worked. So will be trying that next week. Hope you are recovering well.
