Bio oil

Morning all - its a beautiful spring morning here so the night from hell is forgotten!  Yesterday I spoke to one of you about wonderful BIO OIL and said I started using it on day 10-11 post op.but one of my daughters has just popped in and has reminded me that the most important thing we were told was to only start using it once the wound no longer had a dressing on it any more - about 14 days post op. Hope this makes things clearer.

Hi. I was told to use bio oil when my dressing came off too. Amazing stuff. After massaging it into my entire leg for a couple of months i not only noticed my skin was softer but also clearer. Less freckles! Lol So now i use it everywhere!

    Ladies it lessens winkles too!

Plus my knee always feels better after a nice massage!

I also use it on my face because after 9 days in hospital my skin was very dry and tired looking and it does have some lovely ingredients in it for "feeding" aging skin like mine!  Like you I enjoy the twice daily gentle leg massage I give myself and it's the perfect opportunity to check all is ok.

Hi, yes lovely morning here. Just managed a walk with dog for the third morning this week of around 2 miles. I started using Bio oil to massage the scar and knee , two days after having my staples out, that's what the nurse suggested.  Great stuff and good to massage all the muscles around the back of the knee as well. Seems expensive but lasts for ages, I massage twice a day.

What is Bio Oil.Where do you get the oil. Had my surgery on Jan 5 and have not been told to use that or any other cream here in the states.  Seems as though the numbness is wearing off more and more, and a little senseitivity in the back of the knee.  But all is good.

Wonderful oil recommended for pregnant ladies to help avoid stretch marks, for healing scar tissue for helping to hydrate dry/ageing skin - the list is quite extensive and the oil contains some nice healing ingredients.  A 60ml bottle came from Asda (Walmart in USA) for about £6 - £7 but recently bought a 200ml bottle from the bio oil company via Amazon on offer for about £13 with free P & P.  It's a well known oil in the UK so hope you can get some

I bought Bio oil because it was the one recommended to me, however my Spanish friend had not heard of Bio oil, they use Rose de Mosqueta ( Rose Hip oil)?. Amazon have both. The Rose hip oil sounded quite nice?
