Biomedical Device idea for Parkinson's Disease patients with sleep disorders

I am part of a college biomedical device project team and our team is considering creating a prototype for Parkinson's Disease patients with sleep disorders. We were wondering what type of discomfort the patients experience at night (i.e. sleepwalking). We are thinking of creating wearable socks with motion sensors and are seeking advice on improving our prototype. Please let us know what your opinions are!
