hi all well had biopsy yesterday  tbh wasnt a pleasent experiance  3 samples were taken  sounds like a giant staple gun going off when they take them  the first one hurt a bit 6 out of ten but then he gave me more anasthetic and then felt nothing for the last two  lying flat 4 hrs after then sitting up for 2 hours were going to keep me in overnight again but got released at 7pm  really sore and aching now  been told to be careful for next  two weeks  apparently what ever is causing kidney problems is in both kidneys and its in the centre of the kidneys  he said there bright coloured in the centre and that it suggets inflammation condition  said that apparently we have small filters in the kidneys like a sieve but ive got big holes there where all the waste is dropping through and so not getting filtered out of my body properly  he said theres over 200 conditions that can cause this and the biopsy will hopefully tell whice one it is and then they can decide on what treatmeht is required  one plus point he said was that both kidneys were a nice big size so they have something to work with  so now awaiting nerveousley for results and hope its not too serious  seeing neph on may4th  but i would have thought they would contact me sooner if need be   as i said painful at present and only allowed to take parecetomal

    Hello,

Been waiting for your update.  If it hurt then like you say not enough juice, glad the other two were ok and you got through it coming out the other end not too bad.  This is the begining of a roller coaster for you, at least you will get a diagnosis and then plan of what to do.  Hang in there 5/5 not too far away, in fact it will soon be christmas smile keep us posted glad you are ok

      Hi,

Aw nice to have family round and your nephew sounds like a good lad.  Just take it easy like you have been told gently does it eh.  The hospital are right your bp does change through the day depending on what you have been doing.  Brill news that it has been at them readings though, means you were clam so well done you, very proud as I know how scared you were and you did it so you see you are brave even though you may not have felt it.  You can also get something called white coat syndrome where you work yourself up so it goes high any way.  Also the machines are not always accurate.  I have one from the hospital at home but there one always reads slightly higher. Whatever comes back you will deal with it and you have your family and friends on here.  Do not take anything unless your dr or neph tell you too its dangerous and can cause more harm!.  If there was a magic potion trust me I would have taken it rather than go through what I have been through and watch my friend go through it too.  There is no magic fix sadly. Have a lovely Easter and rest xxx
