Biopsy question

Hi ladies,I have had a biopsy taken in two areas today... I was diagnosed with LS 6 months ago by my GP. Went back for another check up & because of problems with passing urine, was sent to see a Gyni consultant who ordered an urgent biopsy for an area of concern (thought it was a cyst but she said no) Two days later have just had it done but was told it was to confirm LS! Also told no sign of cancer( I asked) phew.

As I have no inner labia left & with some white areas, I thought my diagnosis was100% certain. Have had a look to see where the biopsies were taken & see the area where I thought was 'of concern' hasn't  had a biopsy.Am now puzzled why I have had a biopsy, any thoughts?

This is the best site I have come across for information... thanks to all you ladies for sharing your stories.

Biopsy's are apparently to make sure the diagnosis is correct.  Your description says to me - it's LS.

?Have you read "An Experiment with Borax" on this forum?  It was most helpful.  I use baking soda and borax baths and rinses for my LS.  It keeps everything nicely under control.

Thanks hanny... I now use Cob very sparingly(was getting uti)but find Emu oil good. I have no irritation anymore  but sometimes the area I thought was a cyst is sore. I have read some of the Borax thread... v interesting.
