biopsy results

Hi I recently had a biopsy and was diagnosed with endometriosis but on the pathology report it states immunohistochemistry: ck7, pax8, ER- positive. Also states the lining epithelium forms a monolayer with no dysplasia / atypia and these cystic structures are acutely inflamed/ulcerated. Can anyone help me understand these as I've looked on Google and it's coming back as endometrial adenocarcinomas. Thanks

When are you going back to your dr? This sounds like something they should be explaining and not something you should be trusting google with. Itwas my understanding that you generally dont get the pathology result directly for this very reason.

If you arent seeing them for a while perhaps you could ring and see if they csn talk you through it over the phone.

    Good luck

I had a copy of the pathology report as requested by myself from my doctors as I feel like no one is talking to me. I've recently been referred to a gynaecologist. This has been going on since the first week in march and is driving me insane not knowing and the pain. I've had the lump in my lower right abdomen since September last year and I've had enough. Just seem to get fobbed off hence trying to look elsewhere for answers. Maybe a trip to the doctors might help tomorrow. Thanks again fir your reply karen

I would definitly go back to the dr. I went undiagnosed for a very long time. It took finding the right dr. Just dont leave until tou have the answers you need. They cant kick you out for wanting answers. And if still no luck maybe find another dr and keep trying different ones until u find one that you feel understands you.
