Biopsy results came back positive -- help using ointments

After my initial biopsy came back negative I went to see a specialist. I've had a tiny 6'ocloc tear for 2 years and occassional itching but that's been my only symtoms until I recently noticed a tiny, tiny fused area.

The specialist couldn't notice any visible symtoms until I pointed out the fusing myself, that's when she thought it could be LS.

I got my biopsy results back today and they're positive. Since I've caught this early, I'm hopeful I can prevent some progression of the disease. I've been using Estrogen cream on the tear and have been told to reopen the tear and thenstart using a dialator so I can heal more open. Then, I should use Estrogen cream and coconut oil along with the dialation praction.

For everything else, I've been told to start using Clob once a day for a month. Then once every other day for a month. Then 3 times per week for a month.

Does this treatment sound right? I've heard some women use it 2x per day for a month at first, but my symtoms aren't too severe?

I've also read that estrogen cream can help reverse fusing, is this true? If so, how do I go about using estrogen cream AND clob together?

Are there any alternative/natural medications to treat fusing or keep my skin healthy between clob uses? I've heard about Witch Hazel and Emu Oil-- what are those used for?

I've reopened three adhesions around 6 oclock. My regime starting clob is the same as yours. The other thing I did this summer was do what a young male forum member did - he said it unfused his foreskin. I spent about $60 on jojoba oil, 100% frankincense oil and a small eyedropper bottle. I filled the eyedropper bottle with jojoba oil and three or so drops of frankincense. Never use essential oils 'neat' on the skin. I applied drops to my fingers and rubbed it in at least twice daily. Never immediately after clob.

Hi Jess,  Sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with this horrible disease.  The doseage does depend on your own condition. Follow your doctors instructions first they sound fine.  The maintenance dose is once or twice a week depending on whether once keeps the syptoms at bay or not. Treat when you feel you need to and try to lesson treatment to once or twice a week within a couple of months.  I can do this with a couple of weeks if I catch things quickly.   I have never used the estrogen cream, when I mentioned it to my doctor she wasn't keen on my using it for some reason.  Dilation has been very successful with many on this site as it helps to keep things open, I hope this works for you.  Witch Hazel is used to keep the area clean and calm, emu oil for moisturising. We all try different things and most of us have found that by alternating our treatments and using a variety of things our bodies do not become used to things and them immune to the benefits.  I use Epaderm ointment to clean and moisturise every loo visit and for showering it is so soothing.  I also use Manuka Honey, Coconut Oil, to treat tears, and use a citzbath with warm water and a good pinch of bicarbonate of soda in it as a soak for about 15 minutes occasionally which seems to calm things for me.  If I am suffering a bad tear that stings I find weeing into this will stop the urine stinging the tear making things easier.  I have heard of some people using cider apple vinegar, Hydramol Ointment, sudocrem or other nappy rash ointments.  There is a lot of information out there.

I started Clob last night. My Dr. said to put it everywhere that I'm itchy, on the 6oclock position and around the opening.

I did that, and now I'm itchy! I wasn't itchy before.

Is that normaly to be itchy after applying Clob?

If you're just starting it you could have an initial reaction. Some people react to the extra ingredients in the white clob cream. My pharmacist filled a repeat as ointment, which is absorbed better anyway.
