there are many posts on here, & all seem to be anxiety-related.chocolate is quite useful for elevating your mood: & i use this in moderation cos it helps stimulate the secretion of serotonin in the brain.

So great to read your posting. I have just been diagnosed with BPD, though realised at the start of the year that BPD explained so much of my experiences over so many years. The thing I responded to was your struggle to get back running again. I too used to run fairly long distances - often cross country, but in the last 2 years it feels like I've lost every last ounce of fitness I ever had. I also think that long-distance aerobic repetitive exercise has really beneficial effects on mood. I hope you can get back to it. I'll keep your posting in mind as a spur to get me back running again too. Cheers.

I've been unemployed 2 years and diagnosed BPD 1 year ago. I don't think I will ever go back to my life as a carpenter - to much stress. You need to take your time - relax and get to know the disorder so you can come to terms with a new lifestyle.

I am now so unfit I can't run for a bus either - but at least you have a job and are able to keep it.

Ask your Psych to try you on Quetiapine 200mg at night - it really helps me chill out and since first taking it I have lost the anxiety you seem to be suffering.

    Take care of yourself
