Darkness surround me and I am alone. My story to long......my sadness to great. Life is hard and living for the brave....Feel like giving up but my one year old needs me. 42 and feel like a failure...where has life passed me by, when did I give up and why...

    You must never give up. I have been there many times and feel like a failure when I am depressed because my illness holding me back from what I am capable of. I am 48 and yes i feel a lot of my life has gone by just being in a black hole but you show strength by carrying on and that alone proves you are not a failure.

    Have you got any family or friend support?

    you are not a failure and you are not alone. I have bi-polar also so I can relate. I want to give up too but I'm still here.dont  give up youre right your baby needs you. best of luck
