Bipolar and birth control?

So I've been diagnosed bipolar for about three years now and its pretty well managed with my meds. I'm on lithium (my miracle haha) zoloft, (just a baby dose) trazodone for insomnia and klonopin for anxiety as needed. Early October, i went on a birth control pill for period suppression due to my endometriosis. Ever since then I feel like I have been extra anxious and weepy. The smallest things make me wanna cry these days and I'm not usually like that. i'm also having surgery this week so i'm not sure if thats playing a role in all of this as well or not. I'm seeing my psychiatrist next week, just wanted to see if anyone else has had emotional issues after starting birth control.
