Don't remove the ovaries not until u r older like 50-60. I'm 61 & had my taken out 2wks ago. Now going through mood swings. I had to have my cervix & uterus removed at 35. My doctor told me to keep them as long as I could for healthier bones. I think you should keep them. Good luck with your choice.

Hi there. I'm high-risk for another stroke if I try birth control again.I had two small ones already....27 weeks into my pregnancy and right after I gave birth to my son.

I'm sorry I didn't read anything about u having any strokes. I'm not a doctor. I was just relating what I did & why. At 35 I almost bleed to death I didn't have a choice except to live. I just had 3 TIA's from a Clear air turbulence fall back in 1985. I have not had anymore so far. But I don't take birth control. Each person's body is very different. I hope u make the best choice for u. I wanted a child & lost that chance. I have had neck, back surgery due to this fall & know I will have to have more. So my doctor's choice was right for me. I'm glad she made the choice cause I really need healthy bones. Best of Luck to you.
