Birth control with fever few or butterbur

i have recently been put on the combined contraceptive pill to control my hormones in hope it will calm my vestibular migraines and PCOS. I have had a harsh time on nortriptyline and I'm wanting to try a more softer drug/supplement approach. Is it safe to take either feverfew or butterbur whilst on the combined contraceptive pill?

Hello. I've checked in my drug formulary and can't see any interactions but to be on the safe side speak to your pharmacist.

Thank you for checking for me. I've been googling with mixed results. Good idea with asking a pharmacist biggrin

You are welcome. They have all the most up to date information. It's quite scary when you read just how many vitamins etc can affect the medication we take.

    Hi

I found both to be a waste of money, Sumatriptan has controlled some of my Head pain as I suffer four types of headaches so Nurosurgeon going to do surgical intervention to help. The list of options for me have now been exausted however for you when babies born the Migraines may lesson because of a change in Hormones., I hope so. I have suffered 42 years with the last 7 years disabilitating 24/7 although Mum and Sister get Migraine all their life theyare controlled with Meds. I wish you well.
