Bisoprolol Chest Tightness

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hi,

Ive been on bisoprolol for around 11 months now and the past couple of months have been getting a tight chest regularly, it literally feels like something is sucking the air out my chest sometimes, is this common?

Ive called an ambulance twice as i thought i was having a heart attack but ecg showed nothing and blood tests at hospital all came back normal.

Has anyone else experienced this?

    Hi there

I am on Bisoprolol 1.25mg for 2 months. I get the chest tightness too. And breathlessness. And when I go to bed my chest feels very heavy. I've been ignoring it as I know it's a side effect of the drug. It's not pleasant tho!

    Hi James,

Bispo is not good for lungs , they cause breathlessness. It would be better to withdraw the tablets.
