I can never understand why these surgeons say its OK to get back to normal at such short notice. Bladder and bowel repair surgery usually involves a lot of cutting and suturing and bruising. Most ladies who have gone through these sort of procedures say dont drive for 6 weeks. You have a lot of healing to do and sensitive tissues to heal. I wonder if you told your insurance company? Some will not pay out in the event of an accident if they have not been informed of a surgical procedure in the last 6 weeks.

You probably havent done major damage but do put yourself first.....yes, you are worth it!Lots of rest now and get those feet up, relaxing for a few days. take painkillers if you feel the need and doze off if you want to. Then, take it slowly ...no lifting anything over 2kg, and dont stand for too long. Take care.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. I will not drive again for a few weeks. Not worth it. Tummy still very swollen, thanks again.
