Bladder issues

I have a fairly large fibroid size of an orange that presses against my bladder. Lately after urinating and going about my day I'll notice a little trickle that comes out. is this normal? The last time I went to the gym I asked for an MRI but she said it wasn't necessary.

thanks for your responses. I guess my next question is for those who have had myomectomy. Did things to back to normal afterwards.

hi, same here. i had an orange sized fibroid and within weeks of UFE i no longer had to run to the bathroom constantly or wake up in the middle of the night to go! I don't know how much they've shrunk because its inly been 2 months but at least ive gotten relief from some symptoms.

Hi Nicole, I didn't have a myomectomy, I had UFE. But yes my bladder issues were sorted immediately after the procedure. No more frequent urination during the day or night.

    hi

its important to get it sorted cos it will only get bigger. then your only choice if treatment would be a Hystertomy . ask your Gyn how big it is in cm. if its 5 or less you can have a Hysterscopy at lot less of a procedure. hope this helps
