Bladder Neck Incision surgery for chronic urine retention

Hello I want to add my story in case it helps some of you My history is was having lower and lower pee flow for about a year in addition to severe back and flank pain MRI revealed a distended bladder long story short even with flomax my post residual vilumes were 1000-1300ml which explains my back pain bladder twic size of normal prostate normal though after urodynamics 4 months ago they said i had a dysfunctional bladder neck opening and that BNI is recomended 9 days ago I had the BNI surgery and wore a catheter until 3 days ago but while on cetheter recovery went well i continued taking flomax to help things im 3 days peeing without catheter and it has been a roller coaster of some days good flow stream and others like today weak stream and frequency and high urge to go every hour or so My bladder scan today during my follow up appointment was 800ml so inprovement a little i still get up every two to three hours at night and this is hardest part actually as it feels like i barely fall back to sleep and i have urge to pee again i have off and on pain in perinum and penis but no blood I am hoping time will improve things and will updare this in couple weeks feel free to ask any questuons

    Hi. have you ever have done a semen culture test or Stamey's test? What were the results of urine culture test? Was it "no significant growth " or "no growth? "
