Bladder Pressure

A few times I have experienced what seems like bladder pressure and frequent urination that had me convinced I had a bladder infection. Every test came back negative.About 3-4 days later I would get my period then the pressure would cease. This time the pressure has continued. I just had an ultrasound due to spotting. They didn't see anything unusual on the scan. I guess the next step will be a uterine biopsy. Has anyone else had this issue? It could be cystitis but it is making me anxious.

Yes this happens to me right before a period. I also sometimes get a weird smell when I urinate which also makes me think it's a uti but then by the next day or so when my period arrives, these symptoms vanish. Go figure! 🤷

Thank you. Glad to know I'm not that only one. I guess the good news is that we know there is a pattern. Next time, I'm going to wait it out rather than getting tested.
