I have just had the operation for a bladder prolapse. My initial symptoms were picked up when I had a rectocele repair so some of the symptoms may have been related to that but when I had recovered from the rectocele repair there was still a noticeable bulge and passing urine was a bit unpredictable. Intercourse was painful and caused UTI's. When I first saw the surgeon he suggested a pessary at first but I was not happy about that and when it became very uncomfortable I opted for the operation. I hope you will be ok
