I have had the sensation of needing to go when I really don't need to go and it is a horrible feeling so you have all my sympathies. I was on some medication for that actually on a couple different types of medication for it. But the medication made it hard for me to go when I did need to so I stopped the medication and am just dealing with the effect. Fortunately for me it's episodic and the episodes only last for a few hours at a time. And I don't have pain with it either like you do. I wonder if you have seen a urologist or are you only being treated by a general practitioner. Because there are so many problems we can have with our bladder that can cause these problems that a general practitioner may not recognize. I suspect that you are in the UK and I realize that you have to be referred but please see a urologist.

Thank you for your response. I have been and had a camera in my bladder and was told it looks fine. The doctor said I have an irritable bladder but it's just I can never go out far when I am suffering as I need to be near home. I'm going on holiday soon and I'm really worried I'm going to ruin the holiday. My husband is very good helps me lots and is very understanding. I'm a bit fed up with going to the doctors as I think that they think I'm just moaning. I have had scans on my kidneys all things but nothing is showing up so it's just something I have to live with but it's so hard sometimes and very depressing.

What a shame. I feel so bad for you to have to deal with all of this and before going on holiday too. But you're very lucky that your husband is so understanding. I have chronic pain and unfortunately so many husbands have wives that have chronic pain do not support their wives. I wish I had more suggestions to give you but I really don't. All I can offer you is sympathy.
