Bladder/Urine Issues

Hi All,

I'm 22, in pretty good health. But over the last 4/6 weeks I've been having some issues with my urine and a sensation that there is pressure on my bladder. It feels like I need to urinate more often and the feeling to urinate is there almost consistently throughout the day.

I have had the following tests so far with all results coming back absolutely fine!:

Blood Test, STD test (including separate Chlamydia + Gonorrhoea tests), Urine tests and also a bladder ultrasound. I'm becoming really frustrated and also quite depressed about the whole thing as it's quite embarrassing and also very annoying! Any suggestions or experiences would be great! I'm taking cranberry tablets a couple of times a day and also multivitamins.

Thank you smile

Still haven't found a resolution unfortunately, the GP's are being pretty useless to be honest, I know things take time to figure out but they just seem like they don't care and that it's not a serious issue.

Some days it's really bad, I feel like I need to urinate almost immediately afterwards yet the initial wee had barely come out anyway!

I'm hoping I'm not alone in this!

Cloudy urine could be caused by phosphates after eating a big meal or drinking milk which contains lots, as well as bananas I believe. You can do a quick test to check for phosphates by putting a few drops of vinegar into a sample of cloudy urine. If phosphates are present the urine should go clear immediately. If you Google cloudy urine phosphates vinegar you should find an article entitled When you need to worry about cloudy urine which is where this rather bizarre information is.

The bladder seems to do some funny things for no apparent reason. I have been passing small amounts of blood for the last 18 years or so and have recently had an ultrasound , a cystoscopy and a CT scan but all normal. Hope this helps.
