Bleeding, A ladies question.

Hi all,

Not the nicest topic buy just wondered if this is any relation to the possibility of having crohns, if it's just sporting or something else.

Recently when I've had a bowel moment I have been experiencing some bleeding, however it is coming from the Vagina area. I have finished my period about a week and a half ago however this has happened a few times now. I'm not really sure what could be causing it and will speak to my consultant but just enquiring as to whether gqny ladies have had anything similar.

Hi, I have my usual period then a week or so after I have some light bleeding when I wipe. I've spoken to my gp and a nurse at my last smear and was told this is normal, it's just what is left behind. I know I have a tilt (?) and when I have a smear they struggle to see my cervix and I unfortunately have to get in some odd position to be checked! Maybe ur just a bit strange like me lol

Hi Stace, know how you feel when I was first diagnosed 4 years age about 2 months after I was going to toilet as usual and noticed bleeding from the front, I was bothered because I had hysterectomy in 2000 so should have no bleeding, I phoned my consultant and was admitted to hospital where I had ct scan and they found I had an abcess near my bottom which is quite common with crohns disease so had to have it drained fortunately it was under general anaesthetic as I told them they were not going near my back end whilst I was awake lol it cleared it up and touch wood no more bleeding from the front, just the back hope this helpsĀ

Thanks very much for your response. I'm still yet to be diagnosed, keep saying they think it's IBS but I'm convinced it's something more. I contracted sepsis last year and ever since nearly dying my body has been fighting again it's self it seems

      seems.

I had a colonoscopy and the biopsy results showed no abnormalities but I've been reading here that this is quite common.

I was told I had IBS for 2 years by the doctor, I only found out it was crohns because I did the over 50 bowel screening and they found blood so sent me for colonoscopy man I hate those things. In my local hospital the sedation worked brill but when they sent me to another and I had 3 there the sedation didnt work so I told my specialist nurse in future I want to go to local hospital in future

They aren't cool haha. I got oxygen during mine but I'm allergic to anesthesia it turns out so the always have to provide me with oxygen alongaise everything now if I get anesthesia! I remember it hurting at first and I'm pretty sure I told the nurse to HD my hand then I bubbled nonsense for ages. I had mine in Christmas eve haha.
