Bleeding after having a Marsupialization

Hey, can anyone give me some advice who has had a Marsupialization.
I recently had a Marsupialization to treat a cyst 2 weeks ago and I'm still bleeding, however the doctor said this could be an early period. Has anyone else had bleeding for a week or so after the operation.
Thanks

Im not sure what bleeding youre referring to. Is the bleeding from the wound of the surgery ir bleedng from your monthly period.
Agter the surgery I was able to go back to work after 4 days. No bleeding from the surgery where they took my bartholins gland. I had my regulr monthly cycle which came normally.
Better have it checked by a different doctor and tell him/her all the details. Its better to get advise from a medical professionals.
If the bleeding is from your monthly period, it may have come earlier than usual. Sometimes things in our body happens irregularly when our system is interrupted.
I hope this helps.
God Bless......

How long did it take for your wound to fully heal?

I really cant remember the healing time, but when i started working i was fine. Only 4 days of full rest. Then back to work. And mind you Im in a Hotel business which requires me to stand and walk all day.
If you could manage to have 10 days full rest then much better. That means no effort at all. No lifting , no walking too much.
The wound just felt annoying because you can feel it but no pain. Its when you go to the loo amd cant help but touch it because you have to wash...you know. Other than that you will be fine.
Hope you heal well and fast....

(Try this message again haha). Anyway have you been to see the consultant about this? I felt like after I had the procedure done I didn't receive much advice what to expect after the op/recovery! The bleeding has gone less which is good but it's still not knowing if it's something to do with the op or it is just an early period.
