Bleeding after partial Hysterectomy....

Hi ladies, has anyone else experienced a small bleed after their partial hyst? I had my uterus removed and everything else left. I didn't bleed at all from the op but have nod on the day of my period had a very small bleed. Just a few spots! I emailed my consultant and she said this was normal and just coming away. As long as not a lot and no smell. Which there hasn't been either of. Was a bit of a shock considering I'm not meant to have periods! 👀 Ps it's only been three weeks!

    Hi,

    I haven't had a bleed but I was told there's still a 15% chance of bleeding each month as I kept my cervix. No bleeding for me but still lots of clear discharge around ovulation time, which I was surprised at?!

      Ahhh ok! I don't mind that as long as I know to expect that, I've been reading about mini periods! It's also handy to indicate menopause starting I guess? Yes the ovaries change the vaginal opening to add lubrication etc. X
