I had a uterine fibroid embolisation 3 days ago and i am experiencing vaginal like period bleeding from day 2. Is this normal ? Has any of you experienced something similar, The doctor at the hospital told me it is normal but I am still a little bit scared.

I am now on day 18 post embolisation, i was bleeding like having period for 4-5 days , then it kinda stopped for 3-4 days (had some minor spotting) and now I have again discharge but like old blood, thicker , but also passing many blood clots. Do I need to worry with these clots ? Has anyone experienced something similar? when will the bleeding and discharge stop ?
