Bleeding during sex

Hi all

I'm 12 weeks post SSF, anterior And posterior repair. Just had sex for the first time, didn't hurt, wasn't right but I did bleed everywhere - bright red blood. No pain after - all normal?

Advice appreciated

Update - apols for the tmi but had sex a few more times today (must be the sun!) but no more bleeding! Didn't need any KY as its been so long and I was very nervous (like the first time again!) I'm a little sore but must be just from the level of activity! I must say that things are different - I can feel a lot more and he loves it! It's not as tight as I expected as I am still in physio working on my weak pelvic floor but it's definitely different. To all those going through recovery - there is definitely light at the end of the very long and painful recovery. I am 12 weeks now and really starting to feel the benefits of having it done - still too weak for high impact sports but sex isn't a problem. The bleeding did freak me out a little but now it's stopped I'm looking forward to getting back to a better self! Good luck ladies (a little post euphoric post!) xxx

Wow KJ! I came back to sex quite gradually but I can tell that you have made up the lost time... ☺️ I'm happy for you!! And I agree, now it's much better than before surgery!
