Bleeding from Boric Acid Suppositories

I’ve had BV for about a year and a half with antibiotics and creams only working temporarily. I tried Boric acid suppositories and I used two the first day and one the next day which was when I realized I was bleeding more than I probably should be. It’s not spotting and enough that I need to be wearing a pad or tampon constantly. It’s been 4 days since I took the boric acid and the bleeding hasn’t stopped. I stopped the suppositories after the third one, but does anyone else have any experience or recommendations for this? Thank you!

Did you get them from a compounding pharmacy or online? If they wete bought anywhere but a compounding pharmacy, it is possibly they have ingredients besides boric acid, and could be dangerous. Definitely stop using them if they are not from an actual legit pharmacy. Im sorry to hear this!

Yes the exact same thing happened to me. There was no pain or discomfort just the bleeding and yellowish discharge. I stopped after two days and bleed for 5 more days until it stopped.

I had tried BA before but had to stop for the same reason after 3 days I was hoping it would of been different but I guess some people just don’t react well to them.

Hey I'm currently experiencing the same problem. After 3 days of use I started bleeding and cramping like I'm on my cycle. Just wanting to know if the bleeding ever stopped?
