Bleeding hemorrhoids

I think i had external hemorrhoids . Last weekend found some lumps around my Anus these have been very painful. I have had these before but i just pushed them back and the problem seemed to go away. Any way i got up Thursday morning with an itchy anus. Cleaned myself and noticed quite a bit of blood. This has got worse over time and now it seems to be quite a lot of blood. Checked the forum and have noticed quite a few people have this much blood. My question is how long does it take for the bleeding to stop.

One last thing although the hemorrhoids seem to be still there the pain has gone so the bleeding seems to have released the pressure. i only get the irritation from the blood so have to clean myself every hour or so.

Ron , if there external and bleeding, then you have a thrombosed external hemorrhoid. If there popping out of your backside and bleeding that could be a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid. The bleeding shouldn't last more than a minute or so

My bleeding has been going on for three days now. seems to be getting worse. The bleeding it not from the external ones though but the pressure does seem to have gone down. Taking lots of baths but it does not seem to help. Will make an appointment to see the doctor next week. Hopefully he can help

      Thank you for asking.

Went to the doctors he gave me some cream and after a week or so they went down. The original is still there but a lot smaller and does not cause me any issues. Hopefully it does not happen again and if it does i will know that you have to give it some time before they get better.
