Bleeding , is this normal with kidney stones

i have just had a cat scan for pain, it shows clear of uterus and cervical problems but shows a small kidney stone. I have bled a few times after some pain, is this normal, I am a female age 70

    Yes, kidney stones can show reddening of your urine. Stones can be jagged and sharp and they hurt when they are on the move (or trying to move) so bleeding is to be expected.

    Drink plenty of water to help to flush it through.

    Yes. It's normal. Your Dr. Will perform urine culture to find our more.

    Hello Dyllis, yes it is so dt panic, now you need to find out what procedure your doc will do to get rid of the stone...good luck
