Yes, I did. It freaked me out when it first happened. I posted over here and the amazing ladies assured me it was normal. For the most part it did go away. I still have some heavy cycles where I am bleeding a nightmare scene & then it just stops. Those are becoming rarer. It was a strange and freaky new bleeding pattern. What I have learned all peri periods are a strange and freaky new bleeding pattern. 😃
My last period was two weeks ago. It was a normal peri period. My DH & I received life changing news. It was not bad news in a disaster way but it caused a lot of stress. I was on my period when we received the news. My body was so stressed out I was bleeding heavily. When I relaxed- read a magazine, colored in my books my periods would get light or just stop for an hour or two. Then I stress out again & started bleeding heavy.
Being stressed out really makes you bleed heavy then top it off with peri periods and it's a nightmare.

Hi Toria,
I hope you are doing well!
I am 51, and skipping periods every few months.
Every period I have now is off-and-on spotting or light bleeding. August was the last time I had continuous flow at all, and that was just for a day.
The cramps come and go like that also. I'll be fine for a couple of hours, then crampy like a teenager for a couple of hours, then back to fine again.
My Gyne was not surprised by this pattern at all, says it's quite normal because of diminishing (but still fluctuating) hormones.
