Bleeding ulcer and fatigue

I am feeling very ill. I have a pain on my right side, just under the ribs, I also have a gentle burning sensation across my lower abdomen. There has been a slight change in my bowel movements, either slightly constipated or else a little loose, some are mostly normal but have darker greyish patches and some are very dark all over. My main problem is extreme weakness, I can do very little some days without having to lie down. Some days I feel sick and have difficulty eating. I had bloods done almost 2 weeks ago and all was normal (However dark stools have become more frequent since then). Ultrasound clear and breath test clear. I have visited an gerontologist who is sending me for further tests. Meanwhile my mind is working overtime and I am googling far too much as I'm off work. I have a history of hiatus hernia and reflux but this deterioration has happened rapidly - over about 3 weeks. I am terrified that I have cancer, but could it be a bleeding ulcer (If so why no anemia showing in blood test) , just can't understand this extreme weakness and it'sreally getting me down. I would really appreciate any help o advice.

    Sorry - pain is just under ribs on LEFT side - I find it difficult to find a comfortable sitting position at times.

    JULIE!!  Im experiencing much of the same.  How are things going?  Ive had much bloodwork done but they see nothing wrong.  Its driving me crazy.  please....if you find out anything, let me know.....

    Hi julie ,i would say its a bleeding stomache ulcer ,ive been diagnosed with one and feel bloated ,sick.sick after meals change in stools ,dark brown and sticky ,my bloods were ok ,but i had a camera down my throat which revealed the ulcer ,mine was caused by to much asprin ,symptoms .blood in stools not always visible to the naked eye ,feeling sick,being sick ,weakness ,confusion and fatigue with toxic feeling and lower back pain ,burning down throat and hunger pains even when full .hope this helps .
