Blephagel and ceterazine controls excellently rather than "cures" blepharitis

Hi, I've suffered this complaint for three years, it hit me in my mature years, I think we would all have to admit it can't be cured, can it, let's face it. But control and "soothing" and dampening it down I believe are crucial. My method is simple and it works. I take a daily cetrazine, which is an anti histamine tablet and takes 70% of the daily symptoms away and reduces flares by about 2/3 and I back this up with my completely wonderful blephagel, it's an unbelievaby soothing thick cooling gel, so I use huge blobs, I'm not interested if it blurs my eyesight as having blepharitis does that in any case, at least it's combating it, and it soothes just like liquid ice and takes the pain away and calms down the inflammation, I could not exist without my ceterazine and my gel, I truly couldn't. I really don't feel that scrubbing with very astringent chemicals and using all sorts of "tough love" on this illness helps, it does more harm than good. My routine however I have complete faith in. I can only suggest you try it as I was truly suffering tI'll I discovered these two products and now I am not. Thank you, and good luck, Fiona

That is important since a cure may not be possible. However, when you find a treatment plan that works it is something to be thankful for!

your regime sounds very like mine .....I also take a ceterazine also a omega 3 capsule and use blephasol lotion/wipes and gel and yes it has worked for me too......I do however still need to take doxycycline when I get the flare up to get it down .....my problem now is I have eczema/dermatitis around my eyes which is terrible and the only thing I can use to relieve these symptoms is the hydrocortisone cream (very sparingly) but unfortunately this has left dark circles under my eyes that make me look like uncle fester from the Adams family but I can hide this with a bit of make up if I go out socialising .....horrible affliction for anyone and I wish everyone good luck in treating it xx

My GP hasnt preribed the cortisone cream I bought it myself from the chemist but I only use it on the brow bone and underneath my eye. I put it on very thinly then with a cotton bud wipe it off again its the only thing I have found that controls the scaly itchy skin.....My optician said her son suffers with it and its the only cream that shifts his as well....I have bought all sorts all natural ingredients to use but none have worked....
I have over the years tried just about everything out there and it has cost an absolute fortune....!! But now I use the Blephagel/lotion/wipes only and I bought clear glasses with anti reflective/UV coating on to watch the TV and that has stopped my eyes from becoming sore I also got my reading glasses with the same coating on for the computer at work and for the use of my ipad and iphone and it made a lot of difference.....these computers etc have a lot to answer for......
but good luck and hopefully we all will keep it at bay xx
