Benzethonium Chloride (US) and Benzalkonium Chloride (UK)

Hi, I dont know if you are in the USA or UK but those are the ingredients.

They are in Wet Ones, Red packet {I think} in the USA and the original blue packet in UK.

Sorry I'm not Ann and these were maybe not the ingredients you meant LOL

Thank you so much Eileen.  I am in the state of Virginia in US.  I never dreamed 3 months ago, when my opthamologist (sp ?) diagnosed me having Pink-Eye that it would end up being something like this. It was the Cornea specialist who took one look at my eyes and said Blepharitis. I have it much worse in the left eye than right. I just don't really understand, if it is this, why both eyes !?!

One more question Eileen--- I just got my Wet Wipes. On the instructions, it says to avoid getting in the eyes.  LOL So, do I just close my eyes and rub the lids ??!!  I also bought some Sinus tabs -thinking maybe that will help something.

      Love,

      Kathy

Hi Kathy......ask what you like.....if I can answer them  LOL

I saw that as well when I bought them......what I did was keep my eyes open, put on bit on my finger and rub the eyelashes { bottom ones} Its not going in your eyes...if a little bit does it didnt do me any harm.

Then change the bit of wipe and do the upper lids the same way.....same with both eyes.

My eyelashes got very hard and sticky previous to this. I also closed my eyes and did the top of the lid and the underneath.....dont know if that wa in Lindas instructions  LOL. I also used over the counter eye drops when they felt gritty....used them frequently at first. I bought some Boots own make ointment for eyes and put it on my eyelids when they were itchy.

Anything else just shout and I'll try to answer

      Love

    Kathy,

The active ingredient isBenzenthonium Chloride 0.3%. They are made in the USA by Playtex.  Some people have ordered them from amazon.  They come in a red box and the indiviidual wipes are in a red, white and blue package. I found mine in WalMart in the USA.  Good Luck. They are fantastic!

Hi Sandra- Thanks for your information.  It is amazing and sad to see so many people with the same problem. Around here, no one seems to have heard of it before, so instead of trying to explain, many times, I just say allergies. Ha ! I did find mine yesterday in Walmart. Do you use hot compresses as well ?!

Yes I do use hot compresses as well and I use preservative free eye drops. These have given me a lot of relief.
