Blepharitis and wet ones

the day I read Lynda79,s suggestions for using wet ones  was a turning point in my eye care for blepharitis.

So Thankyou.

Yesterday I went for a consultant check up and he said my blepharitis is greatly improved.  This is due to my regular and constant cleaning routines.

Wet ones morning and night. Eye drops morning and night. Blepharitis gel morning and night. Hot pad in the morning.

There are days when my vision is blurry but a recent eye test with the optician showed little deteriation with my sight itself, however,

yesterday the consultant pushed my eye balls hard and told me that I had lots of residue of gel in my eyes which was making the vision blurry, so he informed me of the importance of massaging the eyes.

It is a great relief at the moment not to have red eyes all the time.

blepharitis does take its toll on our eyes and often gives that tired look! It's debilitating for sure.

The importance of regular leaning is paramount and has paid off for me.

You are right to be pleased with such a positive outcome! Your due diligence is paying off.

What is the Blepharitis gel you are using?

I don't think I have proper blepheraritis as the PA said "yes" and the doctor said "maybe." It's not on my lashes but on the crease above my eye and down the inside to the tear duct area. He prescribed some antibiotic cream which only seeped into my eye and made my vision blurry. I also tried eyelid scrubs and baby shampoo. With the baby shampoo, if devoted five minutes to warm wet compresses first, it got better (more pronounced and distinctive and then shrinking) but the wet ones do the same without all the fanfare. I have no scales now. My problem is it has affected the eyelid so one doesn't open as far as the other and I look more tired than I am but I think that's even better with the use of wet ones. So glad I read about these on this forum.
