Blepharitis or something else?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I've noticed I was experiencing  symptoms of blepharitis but I also noticed my eyebrow hair was falling out at the same time. It also looked like I had dry skin in between my eyebrow hairs. Has anyone else experienced this? I also recently had my second flare up about a month ago. While I don't see bad eye crusting my eyelashes keep falling out. I was given antibiotic eye drops but my lashes will not stop falling out. I am desperate and really concerned that I cannot get it under control. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

My advice would be to get yourself referred to an eye clinic or othalmolgist asap. Your local GP;s should be able to refer you without having to wait weeks for an appointment.  Sorry that this is such negative advice but don’t think this is something your local chemist can sort out.

    Dear Elizabeth,

My friend was the first person I knew to kill Blepharitis. She used an antibiotic facial scrub. The Bleph had moved up onto her skin and going up to her eyebrows. When I looked for the product they took out the ingredient that killed her Bleph. I looked online and found Wet Ones had Benzethonium Chloride in them as that was what was in her facial scrub.

It took over 3 months to kill it. There have been a few people who have said that their eyelashes grew back too after using the wipes and killing the Bleph. I was able to use makeup and kill it at the same time.

If you would like the information let me know.

I found it to be a Staph infection and the wipes kill Staph. I, actually, killed it first then looked for why and how it worked to be able to answer questions when I started to post.

If you are allergic to detergents or fabric softeners or aloe or lanolin you will not be able to use the wipes.

    Hope this helps,
