Blepharitis swelling

I was diagnosed with blepharitis 7 months ago and the only symptom I have is top and bottom eyelid swelling in my left eye. I've tried everything I can think of to reduce the swelling..anyone else have this symptom ONLY and what helped you?

Hello! I had swelling, so bad. I used the Wet Ones and within a week the swelling went away, you might need to use the regular wet ones in the red package.

Thanks for your reply smile I had used the Wet Ones a few weeks ago, and used them for about 5 days but my eyelid got really dry and flakey skin. Did yours get dry as well, or could I have been having a reaction? I didn't want to use lotion on them thinking it may counteract the ingredient in the wipes. If you used lotion what did you use? The wipes did seem to help a little that I noticed but I didn't use them long enough to get any real results. But it's worth giving it another shot, I've been on 10 different antibiotics and drops from my doctor in the past 7 months, so Im ready to try anything right now. I have no other blepharitis symptom, just the swelling and light sensitivity.

Yes they did get dry, and started to crack, so what I would start to do was before bed I would rub coconut oil on my eyes (may not work for everyone) remove the coconut oil with water, and take off any residue with the Wet Ones, and if your eyes are feeling dry you can use a drop or two of aveeno on the eyelids. (: Worked well for me, hope it works for you!
