Blephex new treatment for blepharitis.

I have been suffering from blepharitis and dry eye for over 10 years now and nothing really have worked for me or have made any significant difference in my condition.

Two days ago at my eye doctor's office I came across a brochure about the new treatment for blepharitis called Blephex. It is an in office procedure that exfoliates your eyelids by using a special vibrating sponge. It took only few minutes and wasn't too bad to tolerate ( and I am one of those people that can barely open their eyes to put drops in...wink

Once the doctor was done I felt an immediate relief. My eyes felt good all the sticky, crusty junk was removed, oh and they did take before and after pictures. The one before was one of the grossest things I have ever seen:x

I know it's only been two days but my eyes feel amazing and I wanted to share this with my fellow sufferers.

hi graciella i am intriged about the treatment you have just had i have had this since 2004 just found out what it was a couple of months ago when i went to opticians and he told me dr at hospital just said it was due to surgery on eye way back in 2004.but been back and forth to hospital since then any way do you haveto ask your GP or nurse? would be more than gratefull.have been using wet ones for 2wks. as Lynda 57 wrote on this site it worked and others posted the same. only been on site just over a wk.and so far so good they all said it would take months not bothered as long as it works!!! looking forward to hearing your reply smile
