    Hi Alison,

If it’s any consolation at all I feel the same ! I seriously wonder if it will ever go ?? I try to think positively and live in the hope that my hormones will settle down and I won’t feel like this forever ? Has the anxiety stopped you doing things ? Debbie x

Yep it makes me feel exhausted. I don't socialise much and go to work but that's about it. I am on mirena and evorel patches.....

Yes and yes! I have Always been a very happy go lucky person, and within the past year or so, I’ve developed severe health anxiety, extreme exhaustion and just generally not myself in any way, shape or form. It took me a lot of researching to find out that it was in fact perimenopause causing all these horrible symptoms. I am 46 now and it started about a year ago and I’m just grateful that I found this group. It helps me realize I am not alone because no one I know  wants to talk about it..I’ve found Staying hydrated and trying to relax with a book or movie and some tea helps a little.. hang in there and know that you’re not alone… We are always here !

My last reply was deleted, I think because I included a link, so here goes again!

I found that one of the best things to help anxiety is Evening Primrose capsules, and I take 2 x 1000g capsules daily.  If I stop taking them I start to feel really anxious so I'm in no doubt that they work for me although they might not be so effective for everyone.

The best place to buy that I have found is Tesco - they have 90 capsule tubs for £4.50 but often have 3 for 2 (on at the moment) so 3 x 90 capsule tubs for £9.  For me, it's well worth it!
