Blisters

Hi all

I am 18 weeks post tkr a couple of weeks ago l had a blister come up on my operated knee which l thought was an ice burn, so l left the ice pack off but l have now got another blister, any one shed any light on the reason for this.

    I had a whole knee full of them. I was having a reaction to the ice pack. They put me on a predisone pack and a different ice bag and they were cleared up in a week.

    i , like you, had two blisters on my operated knee, come up a couple of weeks after op.  They’d were bloody in colour.   I was a bit concerned incase a it was a sign of infection but they went away on their own with no fuss.  I never used ice on either knee so it wasn’t the ice in my case.  im sure it’s nothing to worry about but keep an eye out for weeping, pain etc.  All the best..
