Bloating?

Is anyone else having trouble with bloating? I suspect it's related to either the clobatesol steroid or the estrace cream.

Yes, I'm post menopause. I was diagnosed with LS about 3 months ago and have been being treated with clobatesol and estrace cream. Before that I had zero problem with bloating. Now - lots! It is somehow related to the LS or the treatment for it.

Hi,
I would be very surprised if it's the Clob I would of thought you would have to use it long term for that to happen. Maybe it's the Estrace cream more as some will be absorbed, I know they say it's minimal in the bloodstream compared to HRT pills or patches but maybe it's a reaction to the hormone in it. I'm post meno as well, something I think a lot of ladies seem to suffer with is the bloating. If I have fruit mine starts getting bigger but mine was like it before clob though. X

I'm post menopause as well (age 67) and was diagnosed with LS a month ago, but probably have had it a year.
For the past month have applied daily Elocom at night and have been on vagifem for a year and a half. This has been tough mentally and I have not seen much relief in the past month. I never had a problem with bloating before either and now it's severe. I have also noticed a huge change in the past year with bowels and frequent urination. When I mentioned these issues to my GP there was no response. I'm still waiting for a specialist appointment and biopsy.

Hi loveisall
I think I have been bloated recently which is unusual for me as I am on very rigid diet due to being a candida sufferer and having LS. I've not seen much mention of others experiencing feeling hot at night and clamy sweating but I am pretty sure this is connected with LS as I don't have this problem when LS is more subdued. I don't eat bread but wheat is classic for bloating. Apart from that I can't understand why LS would cause bloating. Needs investigating. LS is a depressing condition but the positives on this site keep me hopeful.

AIleen, do you think these symptoms are because it's an auto immune?
