Blocked bile duct?

Can any of you share what your symptoms were if you had a blocked bile duct? Also, did you end up getting gb removal because of it or just an ERCP? I have symptoms of a blocked duct but really don't want to get my gb removed. Thanks!

    I had a lot of pain after eating was agony at times and could last anything from minutes to almost 4 hrs . This happened a few times . Then I had a feeling of a tight band around ribs . Then I started vomiting with the pain & more frequently. I had a scan which shown lots of stones ,so had gallbladder removed & found out I had adhesions in bile duct so that was treated too. Hope this helps
