Blood and mucus in stool causing severe health anxiety

hey all !

just a quick note i developed health anxiety after having my 2nd child so I know i can be irrational but i am truly terrified .

sep 2020 i noticed change in stool habits and pain , i was alternating between constipation and loose stools, i had a blood test and stool test and everything was clear.

May 2021 - i noticed a little blood in stool and was also bloated , had an endoscopy , colonoscopy , scan of kidneys and ovaries , everything was fine , colonoscopy found hemmoroids and some slight inflammation and took biopsy but said it was just a little infection.

since then nothing has changed but saturday night i had pains all night woke up and had weird gassy loose stool, mucus and red blood that sent my anxiety through the roof and i have convinced myself i have something horrible , sunday i only ate toast so monday no bowel movement , tuesday was constipation and the stool was covered in mucus with a little bit of blood , weds and thurs soft stool no blood but lots of mucus and today i am having very loose stools again with mucus and no blood , i have pain in my hip and back and i am very gassy.

i cant eat or sleep cause i am terrified , does anyone know what it could be ?

side note - my daughter has been vomiting this morning but i cant see how that is linked to me.

any advice/reassurance would be amazing !!

    hi vso, i have read this and thought piles/haemorrhoids straight away to do with straining, you could have a bit of a tear? you just need to know what it is. if i get anything it's ibsc and i then can"t move my bowel and i have caused problems before..... check this you're right to be worried it"s your body.....

      thank you for your response !

      i have sent a sample off and i am having my bloods done monday .

      fingers crossed its nothing serious !

      my only piece of reassurance is that i had a colonoscopy last year and it was fine

    hi, this is happening to me currently i have recently on Wednesday noticed bright fresh red blood in stool, only when passing bowel movements. hard stomach like constipation or something, pebble like stools and then change to normal and green/brown and lumpy. gas seems trapped or something. because my rectum seems so tight i dont know . im freaking out as i am 24 and i think i have bowel or colon cancer or something. i have been crying so much and i just scheduled to see a doctor on thursday. but i think im gonna run into the ER tomorrow. its 3am while im typing this because i cant sleep at all! i have pelvic pain and weird twinges in my left leg, my stomach cramps feel period related and my period is running late again bc skipped bc pills accidentally. but idk. i have back pain as well. i was recently disgnosed with Pcos and years ago they suspected endometriosis too. in feburary i had a hemorrhagic cyst on my left ovary and caused me significant pain and i couldnt work for 2 weeks as i was so weak and couldnt walk. now i am dealing sith this my anxiety is through the roof, i am freaking out. please get yoirs checked out i am hoping it is nothing serious for you
