I don't have dark red marks, but have noticed the general color of the skin in the crevice of the labia has a dark raw look to it. It may have been like that for some time. The bathroom I am using now has far more natural light in it so it's somewhat easier for me to see. Sounds like it's time for you to see a gynecologist if you haven't been in a while. Might be time for you to change how you are applying meds. Let us know.

I did have Petechia which I think is the blister things, they healed with dermovate before my minora shrunk away. THe dark colour which I have also is post inflamation skin.

I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but I have noticed since I started using the Clobetasol - I've gotten these "blood blister" looking marks on my vulva (not on my clitoris.) I have a bunch of them on both sides of the opening of the vagina. They are dark and flat (not like big blisters or anything)... they almost look like freckles of all sizes, but they're dark in color like a blood blister. My doctor told me the name of it, but I can't remember what it was. She told me not to mess with them because if I did - they'd bleed a lot. They don't hurt or anything. I'm assuming the Clobetasol has made my skin thin - and this has been a result of it. I've been taking photos of myself "down there" since I got diagnosed with LS last year and started using the Clob. ... and those blood blisters started appearing after I started the Clob.
Just one more thing to happen to my nether region.... sigh

I have dark red looking skin on the left side of the labia that I looks similar to bruising that is not painful.

They are part of lichen sclerosus. I had them before I started to use steroid cream, so they aren't necessarily a result of the cream/ointment. I have been told by more than one doctor that they are nothing to worry about, but bring them up to your doctor at your next exam for your peace of mind (and in case your doctor can tell you more than mine did (which is nothing).

hi
i get these all the time, in fact they were my only symptom to start with and what sent me to the doctor in the first place, didnt even know there were there looked one day and was like what the ?!
doctor tested for herpes, which it wasnt, thats when they said LS (but asymptomatic becus no itching) do have white areas now tho,
wasnt using steroid then so theyre not from that, never had white skin then (that i recall) , never had itching and still dont get any itching now.
they are always in the same place like a line of them above clitoris
bright red marks like blood under the skin and some darker red looking like blood blisters, the skin around there and where they are is my whiteish area so presume they are linked to the LS
At first i thought it was friction from sex or something, or wearing knickers in bed which i dont now, i still dont know if they are just appearing because of compromised skin in that area or it is friction, Again because of the compromised skin as never used to get them, but have read online that they are part of LS
i get smaller ones too in that area, but when i get the long line of them they literally just appear and then very very gradually fade but it takes about 6 weeks
i get them in some form every month id say, but ive only just started being more careful and using moisturisers etc down there so we'll see ..

Hi. I get the red blood like marks. I was told by my gyni that they are like bruises, it's a way the skin reacts.
I have noticed that they are worse if you have too much sugar natural or processed. However, for me if I have a little natural sugar (ie. fruits etc) I don't get them. I only seem to get them if I eat processed. I hope that helps.
